GigTry respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the platform to do the same. This policy explains what to do if you believe content on GigTry infringes your copyright, and how we handle repeat infringers.
1. Reporting Claimed Infringement (DMCA Notice)
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized agent) and believe content available through GigTry infringes your rights, send a notice to dmca@gigtry.com including ALL of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with a URL or other specific location on GigTry sufficient for us to find it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
2. Our Response
Valid notices are processed within 5 business days. We may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the account holder. Where appropriate (for example, clear and knowing infringement of third-party training data or scraped content offered for sale), we may suspend or terminate the responsible account.
3. Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@gigtry.com with your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your contact details consenting to jurisdiction of the courts in your district. We may restore the material after the legally required waiting period.
4. Repeat Infringers
We maintain records of substantiated infringement notices and, in appropriate circumstances, terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
5. AI-Generated Content
Output produced by AI tools on GigTry is generated at the time of the request. We do not knowingly design tools to reproduce copyrighted training data verbatim. You remain responsible for reviewing AI output for third-party rights (see the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy) before commercial use, especially for characters, brands, and trademarks.
