Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: October 15, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Terms of Service. It governs what you may do with GigTry's AI tools, marketplace, and infrastructure. Violations may result in content removal, credit forfeiture, account suspension, or termination, and — where required — reports to the relevant authorities.

1. Prohibited Content and Uses

You must not use the Services to create, upload, share, sell, or promote:

  1. Illegal content — anything unlawful under applicable local law, including the laws of your jurisdiction of access (EU/EEA, UK, US, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and others).
  2. Child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors — zero tolerance; we report to NCMEC and relevant authorities.
  3. Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, or content sexualizing real identifiable people without consent.
  4. Terrorism, violent extremism, or incitement to violence.
  5. Hate speech or harassment targeting protected characteristics.
  6. Fraud, scams, phishing, malware distribution, or money laundering.
  7. Disinformation at scale — coordinated deceptive content designed to manipulate elections, markets, or public health responses.
  8. Copyright/trademark infringement — including prompting tools to reproduce protected works or brands you do not own.

2. Platform Integrity

You must not: abuse rate limits or quotas (including creating multiple accounts to evade free-tier limits); resell raw provider API access obtained through GigTry; scrape the platform; circumvent security controls or consent gates; or use credits/accounts acquired through fraud.

3. AI-Specific Rules

  1. You must not use GigTry AI outputs to impersonate real people without disclosure, generate legal/medical advice presented as professional advice, or produce content that violates the usage policies of our upstream AI providers.
  2. Where the law requires AI-content disclosure (for example political advertising, synthetic media labeling rules in the EU AI Act transparency regime, or China's synthetic-content labeling rules), you are responsible for adding the required disclosures to your published output.
  3. Content you generate must comply with the laws of the jurisdiction where you publish it.

4. Enforcement

We investigate suspected violations using proportionate means (automated screening, targeted human review, user reports). We may remove content, restrict tools, and suspend or terminate accounts. We preserve records of enforcement actions as required for platform-liability regimes (EU Digital Services Act Art. 15 transparency; equivalent regimes elsewhere).

5. Reporting

Report violations to abuse@gigtry.com. Include URLs, timestamps, and a description. Good-faith reports are confidential.
