Our Commitment
GigTry complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This document supplements our Privacy Policy with GDPR-specific information.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data under these legal bases:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — for marketing emails, personalization, analytics
- Contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — to provide the services you requested
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) — tax records, fraud prevention
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — service security, abuse prevention
Your GDPR Rights
- Article 15: Right of access — request your data
- Article 16: Right to rectification — correct data
- Article 17: Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Article 18: Right to restriction of processing
- Article 20: Right to data portability
- Article 21: Right to object
- Article 22: Rights regarding automated decision-making (we don't use automated decisions with legal effects)
Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR)
Email privacy@gigtry.com to exercise your rights. We respond within 30 days (GDPR requirement).
Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We've appointed a DPO. Contact: dpo@gigtry.com
Data Transfers
We transfer data outside the EU only with appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).
Children's Data
GDPR Article 8 requires parental consent for children under 16. GigTry doesn't knowingly process children's data.
Automated Decision-Making
We don't use automated decision-making with legal or significant effects. AI content generation is a service you explicitly request, not an automated decision about you.
Breach Notification
In case of a data breach, we notify the supervisory authority within 72 hours (Article 33) and affected individuals without undue delay (Article 34).
