Permitted Uses

  • Generating content for your business or personal use
  • Hiring creators for legitimate projects
  • Using AI tools for creative work, marketing, education
  • Sharing your referral link ethically (with FTC disclosure)

Prohibited Uses

Content:

  • No illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, weapons, drugs)
  • No harassment, hate speech, or threats
  • No non-consensual intimate imagery
  • No content that infringes others' IP
  • No deepfakes of real people without consent
  • No political misinformation
Behavior:
  • No spam or mass unsolicited messages
  • No scraping personal data
  • No impersonation of others
  • No fraudulent activity or fake reviews
  • No AI presented as human (we require clear AI disclosure)
Technical:
  • No reverse engineering
  • No automated access without our API
  • No DDoS or abuse of infrastructure
  • No sharing accounts

AI-Specific Rules

  • All AI-generated content must be clearly labeled as AI-generated when published
  • Don't use AI to deceive people about whether they're talking to a human
  • Don't generate content that impersonates specific real people without consent
  • Don't use AI to generate content for prohibited purposes

Enforcement

Violations may result in:

  • Content removal
  • Credit forfeiture
  • Account suspension
  • Permanent ban
  • Legal action (for serious violations)

Reporting Violations

Email abuse@gigtry.com with evidence. We investigate within 48 hours.

Whistleblower Protection

If you report a violation in good faith, we protect your identity.

How we keep this updated

GigTry monitors legal developments (GDPR, CCPA, FTC guidelines, AI Act) and our legal team reviews policies quarterly. When laws change, we update policies within 30 days and notify users by email. Our system suggests updates — a human always reviews before publishing.
